Precision

Just as news is breaking that a rocket fired from Gaza has directly struck a factory in Sderot, here's a reminder from yesterday of the level of caution and precision that the IDF goes to in order to minimize collateral damage while strictly targeting designated terror operatives. Quite the contrast compared to Hamas and company who consistently target innocent Israeli civilians and then celebrate when they succeed. Thankfully, the IDF continues to do everything within its means in order to protect Israelis, while safeguarding the lives of Palestinians as well. Something that should not easily be discounted

No Rest

While Operation Brother's Keeper has been scaled back in recent days in order to reduce tension during the upcoming Ramadan holiday. IDF forces are nonetheless still active in their search for the three missing Israeli teenagers, Gilad, Naftali and Eyal.

Suarez bites again

I don't know what's more surprising, the fact that Luis Suarez has now bitten an opposing player for the third time or the complete inaction on FIFA's part to discipline him in any way.

AA TLV

It's not exactly the best of times right now for American Apparel, but here in Tel Aviv, you would never really guess. We might have serious upheaval with our neighbors just a few miles away, however, leave it to Tel Aviv hipsters to ensure that the bubble in this town continues to only grow bigger and bigger.

My Brother's Keeper

With the commencement of "Operation Brother's Keeper" what is clear is that the IDF is leaving no stone unturned in their search for the 3 missing Israeli teenagers, Eyal, Naftali and Gil-ad. Having arrested over 200 terror suspects in sweeps throughout the West Bank so far, IDF forces are now thoroughly expanding the scale of their operations and are now focusing in on Nablus, the proclaimed "Terror Capital" of the West Bank.

The Heat is On

Nearly 72 hours since the disappearance of 3 Yeshiva students in the West Bank near Gush Etzion, there is still little to no additional information concerning their whereabouts. Despite the fact that it was discovered that one of the kidnapped youth had managed to make a brief emergency phone call to police just minutes after being taken. In the meanwhile, the IDF has intensified its search efforts to unprecedented levels and has deployed battalions from the Paratroopers and Kfir Brigades to all areas of the West Bank.
