Afghan Memories
Afghanistan in the 1960's was a far different place than it is today. Dr. William Podlich, then an amateur photographer spent two years working for UNESCO teaching at the Higher Teachers College in Kabul. These are some of the stunning photographs he captured of the country at the time.
