We are now 24 hours into the Israeli ground offensive in Gaza, and despite its limited aims for the time being, the operation has already started to pay dividends. Forces from the IDF's Givati and Paratrooper brigades have confirmed the discovering of 21 underground terror tunnels stocked with weapons and explosives. As well, over 20 Hamas militants have reportedly already been killed in action so far. In perhaps the most dynamic story from today, IDF sources are also confirming the capture of a multi-member rocket launching cell who are now currently in custody and undergoing questioning by the Shin Bet. It's too early to tell in which direction things will go. However, one thing is clear, with Tel Aviv and the greater Gush Dan region coming under intense rocket fire again this evening, I would not be surprised to see a complete expansion of operations in Gaza in the coming days.
