Holding the Line

It's a story that won't easily fall away from the headlines. Four to Seven Hamas militants infiltrated through a tunnel into southern Israel near Kibbutz Nahal Oz yesterday and stormed an army outpost, tragically killing five IDF soldiers stationed at their pillbox.

According to military sources on the ground, it was the heroism of one individual soldier that prevented an even greater tragedy from occurring. After firing an anti-tank missile and attacking with Kalashnikovs, Hamas terrorists then attempted to abduct the body of a soldier on the scene and flee back towards Gaza. It was only due to the honorable and brave actions of this one anonymous soldier that something much worse didn't up materializing.
